Quarterly Update, Q4 2017

2017 has finally come to a close. What a year it has been! Step Up has expanded its services from Executive Search into HR Consultancy Projects as well as Executive and Performance Coaching, which has been so well received in the market. We have been discussing a number of trending topics including Mindfulness, Cultural Awareness, Upskilling Managers, Improving Team Efficiency and Work Life Balance.
Our final quarter saw Step Up place 3 roles across the board. The first role was for a long standing Retail client, which continues to grow and nurture its loyal team. The remaining roles were from the new sector Step Up has been establishing - Air Transport. This is an exciting field, currently being spearheaded by the accomplished Darryl Chan.
Overall we see that Retail and Sourcing market conditions have slowly but steadily increased as the year has progressed. There is much more movement in roles (compared to same time last year) especially at a middle management level. Ecommerce and Digital roles are in high demand. Above all, clients across the board are looking for exceptional profiles - those with a combination of experience, acute business sense and team player spirit.
