A Global Footwear and Apparel corporation, whose portfolios with multiple brands who engages in design, development, manufacturing, and worldwide retailing is looking for an experienced costing professional to join the Asia office in Hong Kong.

The primary responsibility of the Director is to provide leadership and direction to the Asia costing unit, whilst providing oversight to the brand leadership on key issues. You are a team leader who oversee a team of costing experts and to ensure the implementation of best practices.

Partnering with key functions such as Product Development, Sourcing, Supply Chain and Finance, you would provide vision and transparent costing processes to best support the brands. You are also a key project leader who will define and champion projects and initiatives with objectives to improve margins of products in the target markets.

With your expertise, you would keep abstract of macro-economic trends and labour costs in the manufacturing regions that might have an impact on the cost structure.

Last but not least, you play a key role in keeping the costs down whilst ensuring the quality of products meet with the required standards.

If you have experience working in multiple countries and are a highly organized manager with quick adaptability to changing priorities, you have a profound effect on success. A team leader who has the ability to build partnerships and influence internally and externally.

A degree in Accounting, Finance or International Business with a minimum of 10-15 years of increasing responsibility in a Costing, Product Development, Sourcing or Finance functions on consumer products, of which several years of managerial experience, is a must.
