We are representing a top aerospace company in the search for an Account Director. This exciting position involves establishing strategic relationships with specified accounts at all levels of the organization and supporting customers’ aftermarket to enhance their experience and stimulate business growth.

One of your main duties is to compile, present, and steer the attainment of sales predictions at budget and subsequent quarterly forecasts for specified customers. You will routinely assess and formulate action plans for actual performance versus forecast, ensuring that the company remains on course to achieve the business targets. In addition to overseeing sales forecasts, you will also create and negotiate bids and proposals that are legally compliant and commercially feasible, aligning with the business’s strategy and goals.

Identifying and overseeing the designated customer growth funnel is vital to the role, as you will concentrate on driving opportunities to successful closure. You place significant emphasis on campaign sales such as spares, MRO, Retrofits Modifications & Upgrades, and non-key product lines, working across all areas to promote and win new business.

Collaboration is essential, and you will closely collaborate with the broader cross-functional account team members, including the Product Line Management team, Supplier/Principals, and Customer Services to ensure operational performance and resolve customer queries. The collective objective is to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize growth.

Given the global reach of the business, you will engage in sales and marketing activities that involve travel, contributing to the company’s business development and expanding its reach.

Keeping abreast of industry trends, regulatory issues, competitor activity, and customer changes in fleet size and type is crucial. Furthermore, you will actively support and work with the Warehouse and Accounting Departments on matters related to suppliers and customers, ensuring smooth operations and promptly addressing any issues.
