We are representing a progressive and ambitious airline to appoint a Head of Technical Services, a key position responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of engineering planning, technical services, and fleet reliability. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real impact across both operational and strategic levels within a collaborative and energetic team environment.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will provide technical direction and leadership for all aspects of the airline’s maintenance and engineering functions. You will lead cross-functional teams responsible for planning, airworthiness compliance, reliability management, and the evaluation of modifications and service directives. In this role, you will ensure that all activities are conducted in full alignment with aviation regulatory standards and internal safety requirements, while also identifying efficiencies and driving technical excellence.

You will work closely with third-party engineering providers, internal departments such as Flight Operations and Quality Assurance, and key regulatory authorities. Your remit will also include the successful management of aircraft induction and redelivery processes, as well as supporting performance improvements in aircraft availability, on-time performance, and safety outcomes. With strong data literacy and leadership skills, you will play a critical role in developing robust maintenance programs and managing technical risks.

We are seeking an experienced aviation engineering professional with a minimum of 12 years in the field, including at least five years in an airline technical services or fleet management setting and four years in a leadership capacity. A degree in engineering or a related discipline is essential, and experience working with airworthiness authorities is highly valued.
