Our client is looking for a Senior Injection Moulding Process Engineer to join its technical team in South China.
This is not a conventional production-maintenance position. You will be the local technical specialist for soft-plastic injection moulding, connecting material behaviour, tooling design and processing conditions to support new product development and stable production.
You will work closely with international colleagues, customers and manufacturing partners, providing practical technical support from early-stage trials through to production scale-up.
Key Responsibilities
•Apply strong knowledge of TPU, TPE and other soft thermoplastic materials to support product and process development
•Lead material trials, process validation and production scale-up across internal projects and customer manufacturing sites
•Connect material behaviour, tooling design and injection parameters to achieve stable and repeatable product performance
•Assess the impact of tooling design on material flow, residual stress, shrinkage and part quality
•Establish and optimise injection-moulding parameters and processing windows
•Participate in new product development, tooling reviews, DFM assessments, trials and production validation
•Use root-cause analysis, structured problem-solving and DOE methods to resolve material, tooling and process issues
•Provide on-site technical support at customer and manufacturing-partner facilities
•Coordinate with internal teams, customers and suppliers to ensure that improvement actions are effectively implemented
•Report to the local Senior Production Engineer
Candidate Profile
•At least 10 years of relevant experience in injection moulding, process engineering, materials application or a related field
•Strong practical experience with TPU, TPE or other thermoplastic elastomers and soft-plastic materials
•Sound knowledge of injection-moulding processes, including parameter setting, process optimisation and troubleshooting
•Good understanding of injection-mould tooling structures, with the ability to identify optimisation opportunities
•Able to interpret Moldflow results; hands-on simulation experience would be an advantage
•Strong root-cause analysis, structured problem-solving and DOE trial experience
•Experience in new product development, tooling trials, process validation and production introduction
•Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment and travelling between Shenzhen, Dongguan and customer sites
•Good written English and sufficient spoken English for technical discussions with international colleagues
•Familiarity with SolidWorks and Microsoft Office

•制定和优化注塑工艺参数及工艺窗口,提高产品质量和生产稳定性
•参与新产品开发、模具设计评审、DFM分析及试产验证
•运用根本原因分析、DOE等方法解决材料、模具及工艺相关问题
•前往客户及合作工厂提供现场技术支持,处理试模、量产及品质问题
•与内部技术团队、客户和制造伙伴协调,推动改善方案有效落地
•向本地高级生产工程师汇报
任职要求
•具备10年或以上注塑工艺、材料应用或相关工程经验
•熟悉TPU、TPE或其他热塑性弹性体/软胶材料的注塑特性及常见问题
•具备扎实的注塑工艺基础,能够独立完成参数设定、工艺优化及异常分析
•熟悉注塑模具结构,能够评估模具设计及提出优化建议
•能够理解和分析Moldflow模拟结果;具备实际模拟操作经验者优先
•具备较强的根本原因分析、结构化解决问题及DOE试验能力
•有新产品开发、试模、工艺验证和量产导入经验
•能适应节奏较快、注重现场实践的制造环境,并接受深圳、东莞及客户工厂之间的工作安排
•具备英文读写能力;能够使用英语进行技术沟通者优先
•熟悉SolidWorks及Microsoft Office
